Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is operated by Magellan Utilities Consulting LLC on behalf of Magellan Group. This single policy covers Magellan Group and its operating companies (“we”, “us”). Our address is 4350 Hogshead Road, Apopka, Florida 32703. You can reach us at info@magellangroup1.com or (321) 285-5022.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a limited amount of technical information collected automatically.

Information you give us

• Contact details you submit through our forms — name, company, email address and phone number.
• Project information you choose to share, including location, scope, footage, documents and drawings.
• Anything else you write to us by email or tell us by phone.

Job applications are covered by a separate notice. See our Applicant Privacy Notice.

Information collected automatically

• Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry and route it to the company in our group that does that work.
• To prepare estimates, proposals and prequalification packages.
• To perform a contract with you, and to keep records required for our business.
• To maintain the security and reliability of the website.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information within Magellan Group and its operating companies as needed to answer your request. We may also share it with service providers who work on our behalf — for example, our hosting, e-mail and customer relationship management (CRM) providers — and with professional advisers, or when required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and project information for up to 12 months, unless a resulting contract or a legal or tax record-keeping requirement means we need to keep it longer.

Your choices

You can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to info@magellangroup1.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
